The CTR-1462 is a fully RoHS compliant single slot PCMCIA/CARDBUS interface board. It has been developed to enable designers to incorporate type I, II or III cards. The low power board has combined support for both legacy 16-bit (PCMCIA) and 32-bit (CARDBUS) modules. Configuration options are maximized by the support of parallel use of ISA and PCI interrupts.
Software Compatibility
Extensive driver and software support is available for the Ricoh® CARDBUS host controller chip covering all major operating systems, furthermore Windows® compatibility is guaranteed using native driver support.
Voltage Supply:
The PCI bus is 3.3V powered and is 5.0V tolerant, both 3.3V and 5.0V cards are capable of being live inserted into the locking slot. The CTR-1462 features an onboard programmable +12V voltage source that can be used for "in-slot" programming of Flash memory cards.
